How do I book a flying experience?
You can either call us on 07387707420 or email us at carmarthenshirefalconry@mail.co.uk 

Are you open to the public/are you a visitor centre?
No, we operate as a falconry company. Rather than coming to a centre to see the birds sitting in aviaries we will meet you at Golden Grove park with our birds and you will get to handle and fly these amazing birds

Are there toilets available and somewhere to eat?
YES, there is. Golden Grove / Gelli Aur Park has full facilities available for your use. There is also an amazing café on site for you to enjoy a tea/coffee or a bite to eat after your experience 

Where will my flying experience take place?
Your fly experience will take place at Golden Grove / Gelli Aur, Llandeilo SA32 8LR, Wales

Where will I meet you?
On booking we will send you details of the time and place you will meet one of our falconers. If for any reason you need these sent again, please email or call us before you visit.

Can I bring someone watch?
YES you can. We allow ONE FREE spectator to come and watch and take pictures of your experience, if you would like to have more than one there will be an extra charge of £15 per spectator. This must be paid before your experience takes place

What should I wear for my experience?
Most of our falconry experiences are run outside so please come dress for the weather. Depending on the time of year walking boots or wellies might be advised.

Can I take photos?
During your experience you can take as many photography’s as you wish. We do ask if you take any funny ones or amazing shots could you share them with us at

Do age restrictions apply?
Our birds can fly to almost any age group. However, anyone under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. 

Is it suitable for people with walking difficulties?
All of our experiences are private (unless stated), this way we can tailor them to suit your requirements.

Is it suitable for people with learning difficulties?
Of course. Our director has worked with birds of prey in the past with people with learning difficulties and has found birds are a fantastic way to learn for anyone. We do not charge for support workers to come along and watch/support.

What happens if it rains?
the forecast is for torrential rain we will contact you beforehand and attempt to rearrange. In the case of light rain or drizzle, depending on what experience you have book we should be able to go ahead.

How do I buy a gift voucher?

How will I receive my voucher?
Once you have ordered and booked your experience a voucher will be emailed directly to you 

Once I have bought/received a voucher, what happens next?
Once you received your voucher and know what date you’d like to come and fly, give us a call or email us and we will book you in 

What happens if I lose my voucher?
If you lose your voucher give us an email with your voucher code and we can send you a new voucher (that is if the voucher has not already expired)

Can I upgrade my voucher?
Yes of course you can, just let us know when you call or email to book and you can pay the difference.

Can I bring my dog to my experience?
We would kindly ask you not bring dogs on experiences, even friendly dogs. Dog are not permitted in or around our birds, this is for the bird’s safety
